Journal History

This actually has nothing to do with Halloween, but whatever~ I'm posting this here today. I did not want to put this in my own blog. And what the heck happened to the previous journal layout? I'm not here for a month and that happens...

So Chika tagged me in her blog... Honestly, I don't really care much to do this, nor do I have to... but I'm doing it. *shot a billion times* I'm actually posting it here because it gives me an excuse to log into this rarely used DA account. And lookie, there. I have hundreds of messages I need to view. *fails*

Anyway~~~ If you can find Chika's blog, you can see the questions that go along with what's below.

My Answers (11 Things About Me)~
1) Cute
2) Silent stares while I am working, pure text speech, halfheartedly answering my questions, and when people are bored in a chatroom and merely post "..." and leave~ What a nice way to make a conversation with someone~ If you don't have anything more to say than a few pixels, I will honestly not want to speak with you.
3) J-pop
4) Molding one's own future...
5) College
6) Boring
7) Jack of all trades
8) Manga
9) Green
10) None
11) My laptops, tablets, money, camera, art portfolios, games, game consoles, journals, graphing calculator... *dies while trying to rescue everything*

I don't know if I know that many people (who have sites to post on)... You took Ki, Chika! *A*999 Umm... I guess I'll tag Oonie, Catz, Sai, Kokohan, Selena, Ayu, Nytt, Eon, Tea, Kuu, and Ica~ So, yeah. I'll be poking these people when I chat when them one time or another... or send inconspicuous PMs if they aren't around.

Questions~
1) What do you think is your mental age?
2) What smell gives you a homely feeling?
3) Do you prefer to keep your hair long or to cut it?
4) Which season do you like most (summer, autumn, winter, spring...)?
5) Which websites do you frequent?
6) What item, if any, do you hold dear?
7) How long would you rather sleep in a day?
8) Are you right handed, left handed, or ambidextrous?
9) What hair color(s) would you enjoy having?
10) What do you do when you have a cold or the flu?
11) How do you decide what to wear that day?

Rules:
1. You must post these rules.
2. Each person must post 11 things about themselves in their journal.
3. Answer the questions the tagger set for you in their post, and create eleven new questions for the people you tag to answer.
4. You have to choose 11 people to tag and link them on the post
5. Go to their page and tell them you have tagged him/her.
6. No tag backs.
7. No stuff in the tagging section about "you are tagged if you are reading this." You legitimately (AKA, really, truly, with all honesty) have to tag 11 people.

XDDD;;; We had the same idea, then, choosing each other without even realizing it. 8D Though I forgot to go tell you about it when you were also in chatchan. D: *fails* But that's the silly thing about tagging.

Oh, maika, sorry for bothering you but I have question: What do you think is the best way to blend colors with a wet-in-wet technique?

And another question: How do you think you can put a light source on a wet-wet technique?
Its just that I could hardly put a light source although I know wet-in-wet technique is unpredictable.

Oh, shoot. I haven't logged on in so long that I did not notice this until now. *fails for being a month late* But no problem, Hikaru~

Umm... One way to make sure that your highlights remain pure is to add a layer of frisket on top of the areas where the water would otherwise seep into. It's this thing that you can place over an area that can be peeled off afterward. When using the wet-on-wet technique, it means that you can still dab away pigment really quickly with perhaps a clean sponge for a straight-edge or a cloth for other methods of dabbing.

You can simply allow the colors to bleed into each other, if that appeals to you. But if you want a more controlled blending technique, the canvas should be lightly dampened, meaning that you take the majority of the excess water off the surface with a sponge or cloth before applying anything else. Equally, your brush would not have to be dripping wet unless you are directly diluting colors while blending certain areas. You can drag your brush from the darker areas into the lighter areas, and the pigment will usually lighten as you pull the brush across the canvas. But the result still depends sometimes. It takes some playing around with.

Keeping the highlights in watercolor really just means that you keep the lightest colors from getting muddied by all of the colored water surrounding it. It helps that you chose some colors that provide enough contrast between your darkest darks, mid-tones, and lightest lights...

I hope that made some sense. #____# *dies*
